About this deal

Park my Perky Condor Tourer when Pouring and Parky in Urban Bristol Under a Blue Bike Parka, Please! Overall, it's a good choice if you regularly leave your pride and joy out in the elements and want to know it's well protected. Verdict This would go over our everyday bike which has a child seat and save me using up all our plastic bags to keep seats dry! Proof that going budget doesn’t always mean sacrificing quality, the ZCOINS cover is one of the best on the market. It’s also a fraction of the price of its nearest competitors and comes with some fantastic extras. For the price, you’ll also get a bike bell, seat cover and drawstring pouch to hold them in. That’s not to mention the cover itself, which is made from robust, 210T nylon with PU coating.

I have a Cyclemax electric bike which I love – and for that reason would very much appreciate the Bike Parka. Bike Parka are attempting to reinvent the bike cover, and make it just a little bit more desirable as well as functionally more effective. This sounds just what I need for my Specialized Sequoia adventure bike!! Its just the addition I need. This would be a fantastic winter coat to cover my son’s road bike which needs a bit of comfort after many year’s of faithful use.Not everyone uses a bike cover, nor needs one, but for those who do, there's a new kid in town, and he means business. My precious road bike is currently garaged but with a leaky roof. The Bike Parka would come in handy. All the covers on test here that were designed for outdoor use are sufficiently waterproof to withstand heavy rain. Some are more sturdy, but that won't necessarily keep your bike more dry. The materials will be more durable though, if product longevity is important to you.

The material has been made with the highest possible UV protection, but for best performance and long life, avoid direct sunlight, especially in summer. It is recommended that you rotate your BikeParka regularly to maximise its life. Clean your BikeParka as you would a good quality tent - cleaning with a sponge, warm water and natural soap / mild detergent. No machine washing / tumble drying. All BikeParkas are made from tough RipStop fabric so shouldn't rip. Accidents can happen however, so if needed your BikeParka can easily be fixed with a tent repair kit.

STASH

Exactly what I need to keep my bike clean and dry! How did you know I was going to look for something like this this weekend!? I can’t carry my electric bike up front steps, so sometimes street is the only option , I and my bike desperately need the TLC of the Bike Parka Exactly what I’ve been looking for! Great idea for bike storage, that looks like it takes up no more room than the bike itself! TeamObsidian’s offering has everything you could desire from a bike cover. The material is a particular highlight. It’s heavy duty stuff, fully waterproof and tough enough to withstand even the worst conditions. The product description proudly boasts that this cover will hold up against sun, rain, wind, snow, ice, dust and even hail. It comes with a two year warranty so TeamObsidian is putting its money where its mouth is.

It’s especially important to use a cover if you store your bike outside. If you live in the city, you’ve likely seen those poor bikes chained outside battling the elements ( and losing.) Even indoors, a cover reduces the possibility of grease and grime showing up on walls and floors. No matter where you park your bike, whether it be for a few hours or a few months, a cover is a small investment toward the maintenance and care of your favorite ride. OOOH I need this so much. Bike currently outside getting hammered by the elements & I’ve lost two covers to the violent wind that hurtles up the side of our house. I’ve literally just thrown my bike cover away, it had a massive hole in it due to the wind. Need a proper cover for my bike and this would do nicely. My only real issue was with the shape of the cover. In spite of being genuinely roomy, its shape meant it really did only cover the manufacturer's max stated handlebar width of 65cm. Other covers I have used have had a flatter top section above the bar, allowing you to eke out a little extra room – but not the Storm Skin.I have a amazing gravel bike – Genesis Croix de Fer – but need to keep it covered from the sea salt laden air! Does it have reflective qualities? This will obviously be hugely beneficial if you cycle through the dark, say on your daily commutes during the winter months. Bike covers are primarily designed to keep water off your bike, which over time can lead to corrosion. We all ride in the rain, and your bike won't dissolve if it gets wet, but if you are regularly storing your bike outside, either at work or at home, then a bike cover might be a good idea to protect your bike and stop the wear from accelerating. Which type of bike cover is best? I’d use it on my 2008 Specialized hybrid. It’s been a proper workhorse on my commute over the last 13 years and frankly it deserves a little TLC
