I’ve read all of the books in this series (and many other Pattersons) and they seem to be getting worse by the book. So the first two thirds of the book were so good that I thought I might have a 5 star book when I finished. Then another body of a young woman 🚺 is found, then the mother in her car 🚗 in the bay, and the husband's mistress is found dead. I liked Patterson and Paetro focusing on a major “A” plotline with a couple of “B” storyline developments with the recurring characters.
