About this deal

Featured on “Spaceman” is German rapper/YouTuber/streamer FiNCH, whose quirky rap segments only add to the fun.

On 17 November 2012, the band announced after a concert in Düsseldorf that they were parting ways with their drummer Michael Maletzki; he was replaced by David Friedrich. Even if you don’t understand a word of German, you get the idea when he raps, “Wo sind die Jedi-Ritter?It illustrates how thin the line is between an album like Tekkno working, and barely being able to hold itself together.

Yes, the critic hat unfortunately does have to come back on and the party has to stall, because for as entertaining as Tekkno is, that’s not enough to fully slide it outside the realm of issues that hold it back from much more. The next track is ‘ Fuckboi‘ and this single saw the boys venture into pop punk territory alongside US metal act Conquer Divide, once again showcasing the diverse range of genres this album tackles and the end result of this one alone has been nothing short of amazing. Still, no matter how chaotic things get, every single song eventually becomes an anthem to sing along to, be it in your car, on a boat, or during the looming zombie apocalypse. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. This is only seen a handful of times in ‘Spaceman’ and ‘Hurikkan’ during their most camp pop moments. Clocking in at ever so slightly over half an hour in its total length, it’s an album that flies by at breakneck speed, with no time for the listener to rest and catch their breath. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. But onto "Tekkno" and this is a really fun, outlandish, rollercoaster of an album that really has set them apart from anything that is out there at the moment. Opener “Pump It” immediately sets the tone, with what can only be described as an ’80s aerobics tune.

In an interview with the German magazine FUZE, vocalist Sebastian Biesler said that their lyrics only use clichés in a satirical way. One of the reasons for this may have been that recently they have removed a lot of their older songs from streaming services due to offensive lyrics. We Are the Mess, Crystals, The Scene, Rehab and departure of Biesler (2013–2020) [ edit ] Original vocalist Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler performing with the band in 2018.Upon saying that, third track ‘Fuckboi’ (featuring Conquer Divide) is just a slightly heavier yet simultaneously more lofi version of Machine Gun Kelly and Avril Lavigne’s ‘Bois Lie’. The jumble of ideas evidently yields lesser ones, and when they do show up, it’s not an insignificant gulf. sold tickets on a completely sold-out tour in Germany, almost sold out shows in France, the USA and other A-cities in Europe speak a clear language. We Are the Mess peaked in 8th place on Germany's official long-play charts and in 64th place in Austria. A certain edge that wasn’t there before has now become the raving pink elephant in the room, packed with never-ending energy and breaking every boundary.
